My dog Tank
Descriptive

My dog Tank is an eleven and a half pound Chihuahua. Chihuahuas are only supposed to be six pounds or less. Tank is double that. He truly is a tank! Even though he is fat, he is still very cute. He has the fur colour of a Golden Retriever, and he is super soft. Sometimes he grunts and groans, usually when he’s tired, or when people are patting him. It makes him sound like a piggy! But I don’t care. I like him just the way he is!

Expository
My dog Tank has a weekend routine. First, he wakes up my mom fairly early in the morning. Second, He goes downstairs with my mom and BEGS for food. My mom feeds him and then tells him that he’s not getting any until later. Then, he eats his food inside twenty seconds! After that, he comes into my room and interrupts my hibernation. I’ve learned to shut my door when I go to sleep so he can’t get in. Next, he follows me downstairs and begs for foodAGAIN. I give him a little bit of my food. I rip off small pieces for him because I know that he gets sick of dog food. Then, when I finish eating breakfast, Tank goes to the front window and starts barking. Sometimes it’s at people, or dogs. But a lot of the time it’s at nothing! Then, the barking usually wakes up my brother and dad. After that, Tank usually rests for the rest of the day. It happens every weekend!

Persuasive
You do not want to look after my dog Tank for too long. First of all, you have to put up with all of his barking, when a lot of the time, nothing is there! Also, there’s always poop somewhere around the house. Another thing is the he is always begging for food, even AFTER he ate! But a good thing about taking care of him is that when you go to sleep, he keeps you warm. But then wakes you up in the morning! That’s why you don’t want to look after my dog Tank for too long.

Narrative
This one time about two years ago, I thought my dog Tank was DEAD! It was a cold winter night so my mom, dad and I decided to rent a couple movies. We were going to take my moms car. While I waited in the car, my dad was getting his wallet out of his car, which was in the garage. When he got his wallet, we drove to K.C. Discount, which is a variety store close by our house. When we got back we ate supper and watched the movies. When we were about to go to bed, we realized that we couldn’t find Tank! We searched the house looking for Tank. We couldn’t find him. My dad decided to drive around the neighbourhood and look for him. As soon as he opened his car door, Tank was there! We realized that Tank must have followed my dad into his car when he got his wallet without my dad realizing that Tank followed him. We were so happy and relived!
