Expository

To get toHamiltonBulldogs.gif the OHF’s there is a lot of steps you must go through to get there. First of all you have to win your league (SCTA’s). Second of all the two SCTA’s loops join together and that’s called the OMHA’s. Whoever wins that goes to the OHF’s. In the OHF’s there is six loops all across Ontario and they playoff to see which team is number one team in Ontario.

Narrative

The Marlboros opened the scoring in the first period by scoring a goal on the power play. With 0.3 seconds left in the first period Brendan D’Agostino tied the game. In the second period the Bulldogs Brandon Saigeon scored on a power play to make it 2-1 for the dogs. Shortly after that Brendan D’Agostino scored the third goal for the dogs. Johnny Schaefer, a defencemen, took a shot from the point giving the dogs a 4-1 lead. Mid-way through the third the Marlboros got a goal to make it 4-2. Even though the Marlboros opened the scoring the Bulldogs fought back to win the game.


Descriptive

Within ten seconds left in the game the Bulldogs fans went wild in the stands! They were yelling and screaming “Go Dogs Go”. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Cheers and hugging flooded the arena. All the Bulldogs players swarmed the ice and pilled upon the goalie. Words couldn’t describe what it felt like under the pile. The smell was like a stinky shirt that has never been washed, and you could not see a thing because of the avalanche of jerseys pilling on you. When the parents, siblings, grandparents made their way to the ice. Pictures were flashing everywhere!


Persuasive

It was not a fluke that the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs beat the Toronto Jr. Marlboros. The Bulldogs deserved to win since they all pulled together and worked as a team. Everyone stayed focused and no mistakes were made. The forwards kept drilling pucks at the net while the defence protected their goalie. Now everyone can call the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs the number one ranked team in Canada.
