litle_brotherMy Little brother Calllum

Descriptive
My brother’s appearance matches his personality greatly. His messy hair, that has never met a brush seems to fit his goofy and careless behaviour. His curious and alert brown eyes are always looking for trouble; you can tell when that happens when you see his classic sly grin on his face. His gentle hands are small, but that never stops him from throwing punches. He has a skinny belly despite all the junk that seems to go in there, probably because his restless legs never seem to stay put. My brother is called cute by anyone he meets, yet they also know to keep an eye on him, just by looking at him.

Narrative
My brother Callum was excited before his birthday. So excited it seemed that he was bouncing off the walls when we were not looking. He could not stop talking about his number one wish: the 3DS. I swear I knew every detail of it and I did not even care about it. When I saw him on his birthday, he was like a monkey going after a banana: hyperactive. His smile was like a character from Japanese animation: huge. When he got his 3DS, he could not keep his eyes off it. It made my parents feel like they did their job to make him happy on his birthday, and the day had just started. His birthday party was something to remember; all the boys from his class, pizza, karate lessons, everyone had an amazing time. At the end of the day, Callum was worn out from such a long and exciting day. I was happy for him because I knew all of his excitement was worth it.

Expository
Sometimes my brother will get mad or angry, and it’s important to know what to do to end his frustration as fast as possible. The first thing you need to do is give him space, let him be alone and cool off. When he is mad at you, him seeing you or being near you will just make it worse. After a while, when he is less angry, go up to him and start the process of calming him down. Sit with him, give him a hug, just show a symbol that says you're not mad at him. This shows that there is no longer a reason for him to be as upset as he was. The last thing you should do is destract him from his frustration, invite him to play with his Lego, or his favourite video game: Something to do that he enjoys to change the subject and to make him more happy. Playing with him is important; don't just tell him to do something because it's always nicer to him when he is playing with someone. It can be hard when Callum gets angry, but when you know what to do it becomes a whole lot easier.

Persuasive
Despite our occasional fights, my brother Callum is a great brother. He is a giant goof ball. You can always count on him for a laugh when you are down because his clumsy and goofy personality can make you laugh whenever he is in a good mood. Another amazing thing about him is that he is always happy to see me. After school, early in the morning, after a long trip, I can usually see him with a smile on his face. It gives you a boast when you know there are people like that. The last, and probably the number one reason he is a good brother is that he looks up to me. He always enjoys playing with me and tries to do what I do. He loves me just as much as his parents, not that he always shows it, necessarily. As you can see, my brother is amazing; one of my goals is to be just as good a brother to him.
