First of all you need to get ready to race for one of the six dodgeballs at the half court line. If you get a dodgeball throw at a close opposing player immediately and back away. This quick and easy will get an easy throw at a player and get you out of the line of fire. Second you need to know how to throw a dodgeball effectively from a distance. Next rule of throwing a dodgeball is to get a dodgeball! Then you need to pick out a player isolated from the rest of the team and angle yourself from them to get a clear shot. Finally you need to throw the dodgeball by taking a short run of at least three to four steps and release the dodgeball like a pitcher in baseball would. Make sure when you’re throwing the dodgeball that you put all of your weight into it and emphasize the way you flick your wrist to give it some extra spin. If you follow these rules you will get an effectively thrown dodgeball and a round rubber weapon of mass destruction.

Dodgeball, the game that gives you painfull joy. You can feel pure adrenaline rushing through your body. The blood red ball feels rough against your sweat covered hands. Excitement fills your body to maxium capacity after you hit someone with a perfectly thrown rubber weapon of mass destruction. You can see the dodgeball floating elagantly in the air with beads of sweat spraying off of it's barn red skin. Sweet mixtures of sounds are divinely created when a dodgeball swiftly hunts down an opposing player like rabid wolf. The rubber ball makes them slowly reach the cold and cruel floor. When you feel the fast paced rocket like ball hits you unforgivingly, it makes you kneel to the dead cold floor. This game fills you with ever so great joyful pain.
7C V.S. 7M Dodgeball Narrative paragraph
It was one of our last gym peroids with our former teacher Mr.Stirling, but he left for an interveiw at Lawfeild Public School. So during third period Mr.Menicanin decided to take both classes to the gym for a epic battle of the classes in a game of dodgeball. We serperated both classes and the War had begun. Dodgeballs were flying everywhere at great speeds. The first game was dominated by 7C and we walked truimphanlty onto the court for game two of three. Our class picked up our game and obliterated 7M by catching dodgeballs and throwing them right back at them. It was the third and final game and we wanted to shut them out and sweep the class series. It was intense! Both classes were battling their hearts out and I got knocked out in the middle of the game and never got back in and 7M was looking really good dodging our throws left and right , but we finally got them down to one person who happened to be a girl who had huddled in a corner with her friends the whole game . She had no place to run and we had all of the dodgeballs. She was brutally hit in the stomach after dodging rockets for about three minutes . This dodgeball game wasan epic battle of 7M and 7C.

I think there should be a dodgeball league at this school and many other schools. I think this because a survey I took said that" all the participants anwsered yes they would like a school dodgeball league even though they are not all really competetive athletes. . A person I surveyed said" a dodgeball league would be awesome". With a dodgeball league could excercise while having fun and it will probably more effective then the nutrition policy. I think that activities like dodgeball give students something to look forward too at school and get them more involved and it would get them out of trouble because they don't have that much time to waste on idoitic pranks. Teachers could also play in the league for a students verus teachers dodgeball game the teachers could also excercise while letting out there anger students if they talked in class or did something else. Dodgeball also does not reqiure a lot of skill so anyone can play. Some schools already have dodgeball leagues and have tournaments. There should be a dodgeball league at this Winona public and elementary school , not just for the benefit of students , but for everyone.
